Design Idea

Here it is, fresh out of Sketchup, my next project. I'm calling this a entertainment center, but it looks more like a hall table, or a sofa table. The idea is that the TV will either sit on the top, or mounted to the wall. I haven't decided that quite yet. The "drawers" will pull out and expose the electronics behind them. I didn't want to see exposed components when we weren't using them, so this was what I came up with to conceal them. The back will be open to get me access to the wires, as well as let all of the electronics have ample circulation.

It draws from the Arts & Crafts period, and I'll be using quarter sawn white oak for this project.
